This Atlanta landmark was always known as the melting pot hotel of city. It was first built as an apartment building, and then renovated into a hotel a few years later. The basement space was regularly occupied by interchanging nightclubs and eventually became the world-famous Clermont Lounge. Tons of celebrities such as Ashton Kutcher, Lady Gaga, and Marilyn Manson like to visit when they’re in the A. The hotel was eventually shut down in 2009, but later reopened as a swanky, boutique hotel in early 2018. The decor reflects its colorful past, the rooms lined with floral wallpaper and gracefully old, yet funky furnishings. You can also find one of the hottest rooftop bars in Atlanta atop the hotel. The hotel itself is an attraction, so you don’t have to go too far for a good time. Book Here.

Originally opened as the Winecoff Hotel in 1913, Atlanta’s tallest hotel at that time has a long history. Unfortunately, it’s best known for a fire that occurred in 1946, and to this day, it remains the deadliest hotel fire in U.S. history. After $28 million in renovations, The Ellis Hotel is the phoenix that rose from the ashes of the former Winecoff Hotel. We love cherish how it encompasses a homey southern charm and stylish compositions, but also emulates a lot of its former glory. In addition, it boasts a women’s only floor, fresh air floor, and even a dog-friendly floor, all of which demonstrates their attention to detailed accommodations. This hotel oozes luxury and comfort. The friendly staff is beyond attentive and the rooms are spacious and neat as a button. Their private bathrooms feature dual sinks, a separate bath and shower (because we all know that I can’t share a small bathroom space with Josh). The most noteworthy amenity is the amazing spa that spans over two floors. Josh loves the massive hot tubs and the spacious locker rooms. They also offer plush slippers and robes. You can’t miss this hotel when you’re staring at Atlanta’s skyline. If you ask local ATLiens, they’ll tell you that this cylindrical tower is legendary. Not only do you get the most amazing view of downtown Atlanta, but also a complete view of Georgia from afar. The Sundial, a rotating restaurant and bar, is positioned at the very top of the hotel and provides views unlike any other. We don’t particularly enjoy the food, but it still makes for a great experience! It’s also conveniently located in the center of city, with Atlanta’s top attractions being just a few minutes away. Book Here.
