Best Stocking Stuffer for Travelers

1. GoToob & GoTubb →

We’ve been using GoToobs for years. They have yet to leak on us, and the wide mouth makes it easy to wash. Traveling with your own toiletries is better since the little plastic bottles in hotels create a lot of waste.

More recently, we added GoTubbs to our collection. They are convenient for bringing meds, vitamins, and other small items.

2. Universal Travel Adaptor →

Anyone who travels internationally needs this adaptor. It keeps all your electronics safe plus has multiple inputs in case you’re stuck with just one outlet to use but a bunch of things to charge.

3. Packing Cubes →

We’re huge advocates of packing cubes or space savers when traveling since we’re all about packing light. They are crucial in helping keep your clothes organized and compact; we never travel without them.

4. Power Bank / Phone Charger →

We never travel without this phone charger. It gives us enough power to charge our phones all day and has two ports, so we don’t have to fight over who gets to charge first.

5. 3-1-1 Toiletry Bag →

I’ve used this clear 3-1-1 Toiletry Bag for the past five years. I’ve owned prettier ones, but this no-frills one is the one I always go back to since it doesn’t take up extra space like the boxy ones. It’s inexpensive, reliable, and helps me get through security quickly.

6. Tangle Teezer Compact Styler →

Ever since a friend introduced me to the Tangle Teezer, I haven’t traveled without it. It’s a brush that untangles even the unruliest hair. I love how compact it is, too.

7. Packable Towel →

These travel towels from Matador are perfect to have around in case of an emergency. They have different sizes and some are small enough to fit in your pocket!

8. Wallet Phone Case →

Since we discovered the wallet phone case, we’ve never gone back to using a regular wallet. We love the new Peak Design system because we can switch out the wallet for a tripod or other accessories easily.

Check out our YouTube review here.

9. Travel Journal or Notebook →

I love making lists, even if it’s a list after the fact, so I can cross things off. Knowing this, a friend of mine gifted me this Travel Listography Journal, and it’s been something fun to reference every year.

Whether it’s this Listography book or another travel journal, this a great stocking stuffer for travelers to help keep memories from their trips.

10. Travel Toiletry Accessories →

Matador makes some great travel accessories. We have these refillable toothpaste tubes to be more sustainable, travel canisters for pills, and toothbrush caps to keep our brush heads clean.

11. Subtl Beauty Stacks →

Subtl Beauty is a compact, stackable makeup solution for those constantly on the go. All Subtl Staks come with a makeup brush and a mirror on the ends, and you can customize what you want in the middle of your stak. They’re vegan, cruelty-free, paraben-free, fragrance-free, and refillable to minimize waste.

My stak includes concealer, cream highlighter, lip & cheek, eyeshadow, bronzer, and an extra lid to keep some staks at home if I want to go minimalist on makeup. The left side shows what you can replace with Subtl Staks on your right.

12. Ombraz Sunglasses →

We just discovered these armless sunglasses and love them. They use a nylon strap to stay secure to your head when you’re out on an adventure.

13. Lemon Citronella Repellent Stick →

Anyone who travels and spends time outside is bound to run into bugs. This natural bug-repellent stick is perfect to have in your bag when you need it! It is DEET-free, free of parabens and phthalates, and the tubes are 100% recyclable and biodegradable.

14. Compact Hairdryer →

I only pack a backpack and carry-on luggage, so having compact items helps. A friend recommended this compact hairdryer a few years ago, and it’s been perfect for traveling light.

15. Self Cleaning Water Bottle →

We’ve been reading up more on traveling responsibly. One small step you can take is traveling with a reusable water bottle (these are our current favorites for travel).

Pro Tip: Fill up your bottle after you go through security at the airport so you can stay hydrated on the plane. Sometimes, it takes a while for the flight attendant to bring out the beverage carts; if there’s turbulence, they might not serve drinks.
