Welcome to Lovely Letters, a snail mail blog community and monthly exchange. We’ve had a wonderful year and met so many awesome bloggers, but lately life has been kicking both of us in the butt. We’ve decided that this (November / December) will be the last Lovely Letters exchange. We’re sad to see it go. We hope that you have enjoyed connecting with other bloggers and will continue to keep in touch with your snail mail BFFs.
For September, I was paired with Rae of Insolence and Wine, and from the name you can probably guess that she blogs about wine among other things! I enjoyed getting to know her and definitely appreciated how honest and open she has been on her blog. Go check it out!
This month was back to school themed, and who doesn’t love back to school shopping?

some fave teas from harney & sons (they are simply the best!)
sharing our korean and japanese candy from treats & japan crate
I guess the only back to school themed item were the pens, but I’m not sure what else we still use as an adult when you’re out of school. Do any of you still use folders, trapper keepers, etc? I try my best to follow the monthly themes, but ultimately it’s usually better to just go with what you think your partner will like. Will update you on the package I get once we get back in town!

Since everyone is getting their packages at different times, the link up will be open until Dec 27th.
Dates to remember for October & December’s Snail Mail Exchange:
- Sign ups are open until Oct 6 midnight PST. You can sign up HERE (FOR BLOGGERS ONLY. If you don’t have a blog, you can always start one!)
- You will get your snail mail pen pal by the 9th and begin getting to know your partner.
- Send out your postcard by October 20th
- Send out your packages by December 5th (We’re extending the date since the holidays can be a hectic time). Try to stay under $7. {Theme: Holidays}
- Write about your experience and link up on Dec 28th (the last Saturday of the month). The link up will be open for one month.
