Welcome to the Local Adventures Link Up #12. The purpose of this monthly link up is to foster gratitude for the place you live (there are gems everywhere), show others great local experiences that they might never find as a tourist, and inspire others to explore and be present wherever they are.
Right now I am backlogged with tons of photos from when we lived in Atlanta and Los Angeles, so in order to clean up my messy hard drive and to show some love to my previous hometowns, I decided I’m going to blog one Atlanta, one Los Angeles, and two Las Vegas local adventures until I run out! :)
RECAP OF LAST MONTH’S LOCAL ADVENTURES
1. ATLANTA: CHICK-FIL-A HEADQUARTERS TOUR
The highlight of our tour was getting to eat at their cafeteria! Their expresso frozen yogurt – yum!
2. LOS ANGELES: MELROSE TRADING POST FLEA MARKET
I love flea markets in LA. It’s no surprise to me that Melrose Trading Post is a local favorite.
3. LAS VEGAS: ADVENTUREDOME AT CIRCUS CIRCUS
It’s a great place to take your kids if you’re in Vegas, but also a nice date spot for thrill seekers. :)
4. LAS VEGAS: NEON GRAVEYARD
This is where neon signs in Vegas go to rest in peace. Photographers love this spot for photo shoots.
5. Featured Local Adventurer: SHOUTING CHOW
Hsiao wrote about all the romantic things to do in Monterey Bay California, which makes me want to go on a second honeymoon! There’s horseback riding on the beach, sailing, and kayaking to name a few. :)
