Can’t believe it’s already been 8 months since we moved to LA! The time passed a lot faster than I thought it would. When we first moved out here, I imagined that I would be going to the beach all the time. Sadly, I can still count on the fingers of one hand how many times we’ve gone to the beach. There was one day that I told Jacob that I missed seeing the ocean, so we drove an hour out to Zuma Beach Malibu to watch the sunset.
I wonder if I can ever get sick of the ocean. If I lived right near the beach, would I spend all my time there? Or would I take it for granted? I remember meeting lots of pale Floridians who told me they never go to the beach even if it’s a 5 minute drive away. I hope that I would be able to keep my appreciation. But then again who knows… I definitely took everything I had in Atlanta for granted right up until a few months before we moved!
I’m just thankful we have the option to go. :) I hope we will make the time to go to the beach at least once a month. I might have to make it a new goal of mine.

I was trying to show off my little mermaid towel, but the wind was not cooperating.
While we waited for the sun to set, I started reading the Maze Runner. We’re so excited for the movie to come out starring Ki Hong! Woot! :) You should all read the series.
We were concentrating on the sunset to see if we would catch a glimpse of the green flash! No such luck. And you know where we learned about the green flash? Green Flash Brewery. :P
The sunsets sure are pretty in California.
