During our trip to New York City, we decided to stay at boutique hotels to get a better taste of the character of the city. Since we enjoyed our stay at the Library Hotel so much, we decided to stay at one of their sister hotels called Hotel Giraffe.
Located in the NoMad neighborhood (near the Flat Iron building), Hotel Giraffe has a lot of the same, great amenities that the Library Hotel offers. They also add a lot of personal touches that make your stay extra special.
There is a Rooftop Garden that becomes a bar Monday-Sunday evenings.
Jacob really liked the ribbon they tied around the toilet paper.
The large lobby is home to the complimentary breakfast buffet, snacks and refreshments available throughout the day, and a wine and cheese reception every evening from 5-8PM.
One of the best parts of this hotel is the location and neighborhood that it’s in. This neighborhood feels much more local and is farther away from the hustle and bustle of Times Square and Broadway. Pro-tip: Go get yourself a roast beef sandwich from Eataly. It’s one of the best we’ve had.
Based on our stays at two of their hotels, The Library Hotel Collection has put together a great group of boutique hotels that makes your stay comfortable and memorable. Each hotel is convenient enough if you want to explore the city, but also provides enough amenities if you just need to hide away. We look forward to visiting more of their properties in the future!
