One of the Atlanta CityPASS tickets is a choice between College Football Hall of Fame and the Fernbank Museum of Natural History (and ya’ll know how I feel about football 👎). We’ve been to the Fernbank before for fun events, but we had never explored the museum side.
We had fun taking photos around the museum, but overall felt like the exhibits were made more for kids. We also watched an IMAX show on Alaska included with the ticket. Alaska is now our top 3 places to visit next! We loved the documentary, but the facilities just seemed old and had many broken chairs. We’ve been to the Smithsonians in DC, and I know it’s a bit unfair to compare, but the experience at Fernbank was just underwhelming.
On the other hand, it’s a great location for events! I would have loved to have my wedding there. They have regular events like ‘Martinis and IMAX’ and they also host salsa and swing nights there. They are all great date night fun!

Yes, I am too lazy to edit this photo so that it looks like we took the photo together. This will have to do.
