Welcome to the Local Adventurer Link Up #9. The purpose of this weekly link up is to foster gratitude for the place you live, show others great local experiences that they might never find as a tourist, and to inspire others to explore and be present wherever they are.
Starting this week, I am changing up the format so that there isn’t too much going on in one post and also so that I can feature more of your local adventures! Our own local adventures will be posted on Tuesday for now, and the link up will remain on Thursday including a round-up of sorts. :)
One of Our Favorite Local Adventures in Las Vegas:
Pinball Hall of Fame was one of our first local adventures we went on. Jacob brought it up as a creative date idea, and even though I’m not into arcade games, it was a fun place to see. They have over 1000 pinball machines and from as early as the 1950s. See more photos and read more about it here.
Featured Local Adventurer: Time Travel Plans
She wrote a post on Niland and the Salton Sea in Southern California. The whole area is intriguing. We visited Salvation Mountain after watching Into the Wild, but we never got a chance to stop by the Salton Sea. Now I must see it for myself, but in the meantime, check out Dana’s local adventure!
