The Old LA Zoo is a hidden gem in Los Angeles. It’s a great spot for hiking and popular for photoshoots and filming. :) There are plenty of movies filmed here including one of Jacob’s favorites, Anchorman.
While Jacob was off shooting a collab, I went on a local adventure with a friend. We decided on the Griffith Park abandoned zoo since neither of us have been. It was confusing to get to, but thanks to GPS, we made it there soon enough.
It was a lot smaller than I imagined. We could probably walk through the entire zoo in 10 minutes, but we took our time exploring every nook and cranny we could find. Enclosures are covered with graffiti and are a bit eerie especially where no light gets in. We also recently found out that the Haunted Hay Ride thought it was creepy enough that they currently use it every Halloween.
