If you’ve followed along with us, you know how much we love the outdoors. Moving to NYC has been a huge adjustment since it’s the first time in the past five years, we haven’t had easy access to the outdoors. Through the winter, we spent a lot of time at our local climbing gym, but now that weather is getting better, we’re excited to explore outside and find some green spaces in the city.

To start off the season, we headed out on a cloudy day to avoid crowds. We didn’t bring out our climbing gear but couldn’t resist scrambling on the boulders. After finding a little corner of the park to ourselves, we sat to enjoy the views. It’s a wild feeling to be surrounded by trees, boulders, and grass yet have skyscrapers in the backdrop.
Besides our camera, we brought an insulated bottle filled with freshly brewed 1850™ Brand Coffee. On our last trip, we brought the Lantern Glow and Trailblazer with us. I enjoyed the Trailblazer more since I like darker roasts, so I was excited to try their darkest roast, Black Gold. It’s become my favorite!
1850™ Brand Coffee is inspired by the year the Folgers Coffee Company began. As we search for bold and more exciting adventures, it will help us on those early morning sunrise shoots and long days of traveling.

The coffee is made from fire-roasted and steel-cut beans, and they come in various forms depending on what you’re looking for. We’re all about convenience, so we like the Roast & Ground best. Visit 1850coffee.com to learn more.
