Jungfraujoch Top of Europe | Travel Switzerland

After a night relaxing in Interlachen, we woke up bright and early the next day and headed to Jungfrau.  We rode the railway which took us to the ‘Top of Europe’ at 3454 meters, Europe’s highest-altitude railway station.  The railway climbs a height difference of 1400 meters in 50 minutes.

At Jungfraujoch, we had the chance to walk through ice tunnels, the icy landscape, and enjoy a hot meal.

    @soap i think switzerland is one of the prettiest places i’ve ever been. :) new zealand is high up there too! i heard iceland is also incredibly beautiful.

    these swiss photos make me want to break out into song, “the hills are aliiiiive, with the sound of muuuuusic…”
