Our final destination in Switzerland was Zurich. We stayed in the city for 2 days and had enough time to explore Old Town Zurich along River Limmat and also attend the wedding we were in town for. There were lots of random places to eat and hang out in town and you could find locals sunbathing and swimming in the river. The architecture was beautiful! As you can see from the photos below, we had an amazing view from our hotel room. A quick side note / tip: be prepared to spend some money when you’re in Zurich… or any part of Switzerland for that matter. To give you a point of reference, a Happy Meal from McDonalds costed 7.40 USD.
We had a corner room at the Marriott that was overlooking River Limmat going through Zurich from both sides.

A random fountain in Zurich. Anyone know the name of it? I also learned an interesting fact while searching for the name of this fountain. There are approximately 1200 drinking fountains in Zurich. They have one of the greatest number of fountains in the world.
We’re dressed and ready for the wedding!
