Choose Your Own Adventure for Adults – Date Ideas in LA

Happy Valentine’s Day!  Valentine’s Day is funny holiday.  We’ve never made it a big deal to celebrate day of.  With how crowded it can get at nicer restaurants and all their preset menus, we usually try to avoid it and celebrate it on the 13th instead. Today, Jacob wanted to do something more unconventional so he surprised me with a choose your own adventure date and we actually celebrated V-day the day of for the very first time!  Here’s our day via our Mark III and instagram:

Between 1. Beer me! and 2. Food please, I think you know the answer.  Next adventure – Beer me! We stopped by a local brewery, Eagle Rock, to taste their beers! He knows the way to my heart, a four-letter word – beer. ;)

Afterwards, we grabbed a quick dinner and a local Thai place we found through yelp.

Quick dinner... and now either a movie or dessert? What do you think?Pin

Finally between 1. The Big Screen and 2. The sweet tooth, I had to choose a movie.  We had stuffed ourselves and forgot to leave room for dessert.  We ended the night watching Warm Bodies, which was a heartwarming film about zombies connecting with humans. :)

Hope you all had a wonderful day!
