1. Los Angeles Dining Out (free)
Created by the magazine, this app gives you reviews, listings, and Best Of lists focused on LA. If you’re an avid Yelp user, it’s definitely a nice supplement.
2. In-N-Out Burger (free)
Yes, I still need my In-n-Out fix every so often. This app gets you there quickly and clearly!
3. 5 Every Day (free)
If you have a hard time getting yourself to go on adventure, this app is for you! It gives you 5 interesting things to do in LA every day.
4. Arclight Cinemas (free)
In a city that revolves around entertainment, Arclight Cinemas is one of the premiere ways to watch movies. The app helps you books tickets and pick seats!
5. L.A Weekly (free)
We use Las Vegas Weekly often as a resource to discover events, restaurants, and activities in the city. This is LA’s version and is a great resource to explore the city.
6. Mousewait (free)
Most people who live in LA or visit, usually make a stop in Disneyland. This app helps you figure out how busy it is and if you’re a pass holder, helps you remember what days are blocked out.
7. Waze (free)
Although Google Maps have integrated some of Waze’s features, Waze’s community-based traffic information still beats most things out there. It could be the difference between a 20 min and 2 hr drive!
8. Secret Stairs Silver Lake ($1.99)
We just discovered this, but apparently there a re a ton of hidden staircases all over Silver Lake! This app helps you find them.
9. ParkMe (free)
It’s an understatement to say that I hate parking in LA. Sometimes you need a degree to decipher where you can park. This app helps you find parking garages and see the rates.
10. Hike Los Angeles ($0.99)
There’s a lot of hiking in LA but sometimes it’s hard to find. This app helps you find 20 of the most popular hikes, and lets you know its difficulty.
11. Uber (free)
Sometimes you don’t want to deal with parking. And if you’re going out for drinks, you definitely don’t want to deal with driving. This is a great option for you and you can get your first ride for free using this link.
