Yosemite Pines RV Resort – Where to Stay near Yosemite

Yosemite National Park was the first National Park I visited as an adult and still remains to be my favorite. Since we’ve been on the #EndlessCaravan in our Airstream, we planned a stop at the park. Rather than boondocking and staying at a campsite inside the park, we decided to make our home at Yosemite Pines RV Resort & Family Lodging. Yes to full hookups!

Like most RV parks, Yosemite Pines Resort offer a wide range of sites to choose from. We stayed in a premium pull-thru (because we are horrible at backing up the trailer and we get in an argument almost every time we try it!). We also picked an end unit so we wouldn’t be sandwiched.

If you don’t have an RV, they also have tent sites or you can glamp there in their cabins and yurts. They’re putting the finishing touches on a handful of vintage RV trailers that you can rent, and we’re really excited to see them the next time we visit (and possibly stay in one!).

As far as amenities go, they have everything you could ask for: a swimming pool, sand volleyball court, tetherball, horseshoes, and bocce ball. They even have a gold panning experience and a petting farm, where we got to hang out with the goats, donkeys, rabbits, and alpacas. Have you ever seen an albino bunny with dark ears?

Not gonna lie, though we enjoyed all the amenities, the best part of it all is always the full hookups for our RV! That means not having to take navy showers and not sitting in the dark on our computers and being done with work when the battery dies! Welcome to our life! :) This ended up being the perfect home base during our visit to Yosemite.
