Sorry, guys! I’ve been trying to keep to a Mon-Thurs schedule, but I’m currently fighting the flu. We were invited to this year’s SITSum, and the last few days were jam packed with learning and fun activities around Atlanta. We made many new blogger friends, but that wasn’t the only thing I happened to pick up from the conference. I’m in denial, so I’m hoping the coughing and fever will go away if I just ignore it. haha 🙈🙉
During SITSum, we played tourists in Atlanta and visited attractions we haven’t been to in years, like the Atlanta Botanical Garden! I had been seeing the Chihuly in the Garden exhibit fill my instagram feed the past few months, so I was really excited to see it for myself!

ABOUT DALE CHIHULY
If you’re not familiar with Dale Chihuly, he is an internationally acclaimed artist known for his spectacular works of glass art. He has exhibitions all over the world and is perhaps most famous for the colorful glass ceiling in the Bellagio Lobby in Las Vegas. Chihuly in the Garden includes 19 installations spread out through the garden that can be seen throughout the day, or for a completely different experience, in the evening for Chihuly Nights, where each piece is dramatically lit.
Chihuly in the Garden, Chihuly Nights, and Scarecrows in the Garden will all end on October 30 so we were glad we got a chance to catch it before it’s gone. If you can’t make it before then, November 12th will kick off their sixth annual holiday lights extravaganza. Garden Lights will run until January 7th so don’t miss out! If you can’t make it in the evening, they will still have their Holiday Model Train Show running at the same time.
Some pieces end up staying as permanent features of the garden.
