Our Orange Tabby Cats

I haven’t updated you on our two boys in a while. For those of you who are new readers, we adopted two orange tabby cats in 2011. We can’t tell if they feel lucky to have a home with us, but we know we are lucky to have them. Today is day one of our road trip up to Vancouver right now, and we’re so sad to be leaving these faces behind! Luckily, I have a stash of photos I keep on my phone whenever I miss them. :)

This was a photo I took of Sebastian at the shelter. At the time I was only volunteering at Furkids and taking photos of cats that needed homes. I took this photo that day, but little did I know I would be taking him home later that month!

I used to be more of a dog person. I had cats as pets as well, but it wasn’t until I married Jacob that I became more of a cat person. These photos were from the first week we brought them to our home.

We’re so grateful for these guys. When I’m stressed from doing different tasks throughout the day, they remind me to take a breather, relax, and to enjoy life. And also pet them while I’m at it. ;)

Also, since we’re on the road till the 28th, sorry if I’m slow to respond to comments. I always love reading what you have to say, and I promise I will get back to you ASAP.

Do you have pets? What kind of pet?

xoxo estherJacob
