The Lovely Letters is a Snail Mail Exchange focused on building new relationships by sending Lovely Letters and packages all across the globe, one new friend at a time. We are bloggers who love connecting through the love of sending and receiving snail mail. This project promotes encouragement, collaboration, friendship, and growth as individuals and as a blogging community.
Why you should join:
Our goal is to help you make new friends you would have never connected with otherwise. We want to connect bloggers from different countries, backgrounds, and cultures to learn from one another. We believe that letter writing is a dying but wonderful skill to possess and should be practiced often. We hope this serves as an introduction for possibly making a life long snail mail pal!
What you need to do if you want to participate:
- Sign up every month from the 1st until the 6th. Sign ups will close at midnight EST.
- Get your partner & start chatting. We will email out your partner pairings by the 9th, and you can start getting to know your partner through blog stalking, social media, skype, or however you like. If your partner does not contact you or respond within 2 days of being paired please email me so we can attempt to pair you with someone on the waiting list. Also, email us if you have missed the sign up by 3 or less days and want to be on the waiting list.
- Send your lovely letters / package no later than the 20th. There is a $7 limit and optional monthly themes.
- Link up! If you write a blog post about your experience, don’t forget to link up back here on the last Saturday of the month.
