  • These are the dates when you can visit the National Parks for free:
    • September 23, 2023, National Public Lands Day
    • November 11, 2023, Veterans Day
    • January 15, 2024, Birthday of Martin Luther King, Jr
    • April 20, 2024, First Day of National Park Week
    • August 5, 2024, Anniversary of the Great American Outdoors Act
  • If you are visiting any other dates, just know that entrance fees go towards supporting the parks.
  • Save money by getting the America the Beautiful Annual Pass if you plan on visiting more than one National Park within one year. This is good for any of the 400+ National Park units, Forest Service, BLM, and more. It is not accepted at state parks.
