The whole place, room included, was so run down, poorly maintained, and oddly laid out. Definitely would not recommend it to anyone. Stains on walls, bathroom had no shower curtain so water went everywhere. We paid more money for this room than any other on our trip and it was the worst by far. The pictures make you believe you are going to have a view of the gorge but you are not on the gorge and our view was some vacant lot overgrown with weeds.

This little town is historic and quite beautiful.
This little town is historic and quite beautiful. Love the Bridge of the Gods, which I crossed on foot to hike the PCT in Washington. Walked a couple of times over to the beautiful and tranquil Thunder Island. The town has more than enough brew houses, but lacks some diversity in food choices. I heard that several restaurants closed during the 2020 pandemic.

Had great time at price we could afford for room.
Had great time at price we could afford for room. We took paddle boat cruse , We ate on the cruse, it was wonderful. The only thing was next morning, nothing was open not even filling stations. Impossible to get good cup of coffee. Drove all way to Vancouver to get coffee and breakfast. Still had great trip and stay at Cascade Locks.

This place was perfect!
This place was perfect! The entire place was clean and comfortable. The furnishings and decorations made this place very welcoming. The motel was stocked with all kitchen items that we needed; additional blankets and pillows, and a bathroom kit with essentials. An added bonus was the t.v. in both rooms.
Great location.
I recommend this place

Quiet little town, right in the middle of everything.
Quiet little town, right in the middle of everything. Hood River was about 25 minutes away and Multnomah Falls area about the same. There are 5 or 5 places to eat, we tried them all and excellent food. Easy access to the PCT also.

The price was right for a place to just have a place to sleep. It advertised as River view and there technically was but the River view was just a little tiny piece of blue through the trees. We only needed a place to sleep on the way somewhere else so it was acceptable for the price. I would not call it a destinations location to stay but friendly people and clean facilities
Breakfast was provided by the restaurant next door. We had our dog with us so we had to get the breakfast to go. We could have eaten on the patio, but it was cold and windy so we took it back to our room. We had the biscuits and gravy and thought it was quite tasty! The biscuits were very moist and light.
They are very dog friendly. There are nice grassy areas and pathways for walks. Restaurants nearby, and the marine park where you can walk around on Thunder Island. Beware of Canada Goose droppings! : )
The cabin was even nicer than I expected. Immaculately clean and well appointed, easy for me to make my own meals in the kitchen, and had a great night's sleep in the very comfortable bed. With a backdrop of beautiful, cloud-covered mountains right behind the cottages, you are still just two minutes away from stores and restaurants in Cascade Locks with easy access to I-84, hiking on the Pacific Crest Trail, and the Bridge of the Gods. Overall great experience with this long-running family-owned business.
The Best Western Cascade Locks was a great place to stay. Exceptionally clean hotel, big room, very comfortable large bed. Awesome location and very friendly accommodating staff. The breakfast at the Cafe next door was also great. Would definitely stay there again.
It's well located for easy walking within Cascade Locks. The usual hotel amenities worked well. You have guest laundry after 6pm. There is a language barrier with the staff but once they understand they are very helpful.
The location was great. Central to lots of hikes nearby. There were 2 restaurants across the street. It was really quiet. Clean and comfortable. The bathroom was odd. But functional with great water pressure and heat.
Cascade Locks is a great place and the motel had nice clean rooms with a coffee machine, a nice TV and a microwave with fridge. Beds were comfy and the staff were very friendly. Had an A/C which was very appreciated.
The mini fridge and the microwave.
The receptionist accomdated a late check in and was very patient. After a wrong turn in the dark he was able to walk us through how to access the hotel.
Nice location close to town and the Gorge activities. Cascade Locks is a great little town with lots of new brew pubs. Pet-friendly home. Close to the PCT trail. Good washer and dryer.
The breakfast was very good. The scenery was beautiful. The hotel was within 5 minutes of the wedding we were attending. The front desk staff were very outgoing and informative.
Pet friendly. Nice view of the river and the patio feels very relaxing. Gym has river view too! Next to a few great local food places and the free breakfast are amazing!
The staff at the hotel were very accommodating and the inn was conveniently located at the edge of town near the restaurants and actives. And there is ample parking.
