Welcome to Lovely Letters, a monthly snail mail pen pal program for bloggers, where we pair you up with a new blogger every month. For December, we decided not to add more to your holiday shopping list, and are hosting a CARD SWAP instead. I know I have collected so many cards at a much faster rate than I can send out. :)
The theme of November was GRATITUDE, and my partner was Leanna of Simply Adventurous. We met up this week while she was back in Vegas for the holidays and talked all things blog and Las Vegas related. We were both envious of all the other blogger meetups happening far from us (where are all my Nevada bloggers at?), and decided we might have to have a blogger meetup if there are more of us out here!
I love her take on adventure and how it’s not so much what you do, but what you make of it. Anything can be an adventure if you have an adventurous heart. :) This is the gratitude package she made:
It’s now a permanent part of my desk space, so it can remind me to practice my gratitude! :)
Dates to remember for DECEMBER’s Holiday Card Swap:
- Sign-ups are open until Dec 6th at midnight EST. (FOR BLOGGERS ONLY. If you don’t have a blog, you can always start one!)
- You will get your snail mail pen pal by the 9th and begin getting to know your partner.
- Send out your cards by Dec 15th to ensure it doesn’t get caught in the holiday rush. Send 1 written card and one blank card (preferably non-holiday).
- Write about your experience and link up on Dec 26th (the last Friday of the month).
